Loops, Torsors, and Affine Grassmannians

I will discuss Affine Grassmannians. I will explain the relation between the quotient definition via loop groups and the modular definition via torsors. I will discuss in what generality can affine Grassmannians be defined. This is a pre-talk for the talk of Kestutis Cesnavicius next week.
