Phillip Fry
I am happy to be back with the Mathematics Department! It’s been an amazing feeling to see many of my old professors and receive such a warm welcome.. With that said, I received my BS in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh. Before this position, I worked at Panther Central as a customer care specialist. I have lived near Pittsburgh my whole life and am happy to still be a part of this great city. I look forward to my time here and getting to know everyone better.
Miranda Buckwald
I’m very excited to join the Math Department as the Graduate Program Administrator! Thanks to all who have welcomed me so warmly. I hold a BS in Psychology from Grand Valley State University in my home state of Michigan. I recently moved to Pittsburgh after completing a year of service as an AmeriCorps member at a nonprofit providing free English language instruction in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was this role, and my experience working in the admissions office as an undergrad, that led me to pursue a career in higher education. I’m so glad to be part of the community here at Pitt.
