A tribute to Roger Penrose and to the late Ted Newman: Going beyond self-duality.

The speaker will apply tools developed in the context of the Newman-Penrose formalism and the discovery of H-space and the nonlinear graviton  by Newman and Penrose to the most basic spacetime that is not self-dual, to reveal the essential algebraic differences.
