Abstract or Additional Information
Fields in flat spacetime can be most naturally constructed using an auxiliary space, a complex manifold known as twistor space. In twistor theory, spacetime emerges as the Plücker embedding of a Grassmannian. However, twistor theory works primarily in flat space, absent gravitational effects. In this talk, we discuss how to embed a gravitational plane wave into the Lagrangian Grassmannian of twistor space.
