This is a two-day workshop. The objective of this workshop is to bring together researchers, students and postdocs with interest in the theoretical and applied aspects of fluid mechanics. The workshop will provide a forum to exchange and stimulate new ideas from different areas, and to explore new mathematical models and techniques that will have impact in applications.

Directions
The Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is 20.5 miles away from the University of Pittsburgh (25-45 minutes driving time depending on the time of day). There are several options to get to campus from the airport.
- SuperShuttle. A shuttle service between the airport and the downtown Pittsburgh and Oakland areas. The fare is \$29 one way and $56 round trip.
- Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) 28X Airport Flyer. The trip cost is $2.75 one way and exact change is required. The bus runs every 30 minutes from the airport, and the duration of the trip is typically 50 minutes. See the flyer for more details.
