The seminar will be held in Thackeray 427 at 3:00 pm.

Abstarct: Compactification has been a powerful tool in Analysis. In this talk I will describe the Parabolic Compactification and compare it to the Conic and Spherical Compactifications. Applications to Dynamical Systems, Rational Approximations and Fixed Point Theory will made. The talk will be accessible to graduate students.
