Twistor Theory of Plane Waves

The Penrose transform expresses massless fields in flat spacetime as cohomology classes in twistor space. We shall show an alternative formulation of  massless fields using convolution operators on the Heisenberg group of twistor space. We apply this idea to give a novel interpretation of the Ward solution to massless fields in a plane wave.
