Abstract or Additional Information

One of the most enjoyable aspects of teaching a course in linear algebra is showing the students how the techniques we learn can be applied in sometimes unexpected ways to solve problems. In this talk I will highlight three of my favorite examples - finding Fibonacci numbers, integrating by parts via matrix multiplication, and solving a light bulb game.
