Fisher information and the discrete Laplacian, with applications

The Fisher information can induce a metric on a Riemannian manifold. We focus exclusively on applications of this to optimal design, statistical model building, and classification. Front and center will be discrete settings, such as designs and codes, having the Laplacian as Fisher information matrix.
